With the weather being so stinkin' miserable around here we've spent a lot of days indoors watching shows, reading books, and coloring. Not a lot of adventures or photos to share.
However, occasionally it warms up just enough to rain- which is lovely... an a total dream for Amory who loves stomping through puddles in her boots and raincoat.
This weekend we are going to the science center with her best buddy Gabe- which should prove fun (and a great photo opportunity)! We can't wait. :)

Holiday Hoorah
Ahh, henceforth commences my long overdue holiday post. We had a lot of fun during the holidays!
First we went to Whole foods and made a gingerbread house! This is the first one Amory and I have ever made and whole food sure made it easy. They took care of all the materials, clean up, and even took a photo for us. Amory really enjoyed "painting" with frosting. I enjoyed that she was wearing an apron.
Making a gingerbread house with Grandma and Grandpa Battisti. Grandpa very diligently made a wagon. What ingenuity!
All of us with our masterpiece. Thank you Whole Foods for prepping and cleaning up after us, what a cool event!
Cheezin
Soon after our great friends from GA came to visit- Arielle and her 1 year old daughter Madelyn. They spent a whole weekend with us going to fun places such as the trampoline park, the zoo and even helping us move into our NEW place. That's right- we are no longer in my parents' basement- hip hip HOORAY!!
Carousel at the zoo
Goat petting
Riding the carousel with daddy
Then mommy!
Of course when Arielle left we then celebrated by birthday (sorry no pictures), visited Zak's family out of town (too many presents for the spoiled one) and then SANTA came to visit as well! I have photos on my phone of cookie decorating that I'll have to share later. As I'm sure you can tell by the photos Amory certainly is well loved by everyone. She got everything she could dream of, I think.
Oh look, Santa came!
What is THIS- I didn't ask for a chocolate bar? I wanted Juice and Water. (seriously, that is what she asked Santa for this year).
Plastic dinosaurs are definitely appreciated.
Unwrapping the loot bag from www.tradingphrases.com one of her Santa presents.
I'll update more later, but for now... my computer is telling me it is about to die. Adios!
